NEW ALBUM: Let's Play the Good ONe!

8/29 - Recording is all done, and we're closing in on finishing mixing and mastering. So close we can taste it...

6/14 - Got a special guest to cut some vocals, we're 99% done with the recording!

1/27 - DSB fans, watch this space! Rumor has it there may be a track leaked here in a day or two...

1/14 - Mixing round two, and I think we've got ourselves an album title - as you've heard Dave holler on stage on quite a few occasions, "Let's Play the Good One!"

12/23 - Rough edits and mixes are locked down - next, a listening party, and mixing round two. This thing's gonna be GOOD, folks.

7/20 - Getting closer and closer! We're done with all guitar parts and vocal parts, got the sax parts done - a few odds and ends need to be knocked out, and we're ready to mix! And it sounds GOOD!

3/1 - The school year has slowed work on the album, but things progress! Most of the vocals, guitar and keys are done on "Feels So Good" (an old Big Bill Broonzy tune). We're shooting for a release date in July or August.

9/15 - Paris laid B3 and backing vocals on "Chainey Do," It's got me running around the house hollering at how damn good it sounds. This is gonna be one helluva album!

9/5 - Long day of overdubs, vocals and guitar on one song (a cover of Taj Mahal's "Chainey Do") completely recorded, awaiting mixdown, It's sounding goooooood!

8/21 - Some guide guitar and vocal tracks cut - two set for Paris's B3 overdubs, one track on its way to Chicago for some saxophone sweetening by a special guest (details forthcoming)!

8/4 - Two days of cutting rhythm tracks with Kirk, Loren and Paris at Hip Trash Records - NINE backing tracks laid down in two days - way faster than any of us thought! Sounds, GOOD, too. Pictures below!

7/4 - Pre-production on the new album has begun, with recording set to begin this summer! Watch this space for details!
